What is Akkada Ammi Ikda Abbai?
Krishna (Pradeep) is a civil engineer from Hyderabad who lives with a strange rule: Never help anyone. He has been sent to a remote village called Bhairi Lanka to build toilets. But as soon as he comes, the villagers do not want him there because he is not one of them. There is also a strange rule in the village: No outsider is allowed to talk to Raja (Deepika), the only female king of the village, because every man there wants to marry her.
Krishna is allowed to live only when he promises to avoid it completely. Things seem to be fine first, but soon the villagers know that there is some kind of connection between Krishna and the king. how do they know each other? Why is she the only woman in the village? What is the story behind these strange village traditions? And why is everyone so desperate to marry her? The rest of the film investigates these mysteries.
Apart from the main pair, the film also includes Venela Kishore, Satya, Getup Srinu, Muralidhar Goud, GM Sundar, John Vijay, Rohini and Jhansi.
